New pedal travel sensors are supplied with four different color caps. Ensure color of spacer cap matches color dot on booster shell, if not install proper cap on sensor plunger.
1. Disconnect wiring from sensor, then pump brake to bleed vacuum from booster.
2. Remove sensor retainer ring, then sensor.
3. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Install O-ring on sensor, then sensor retaining ring on booster flange.
b. Place sensor in retaining ring and booster, ensure sensor is seated properly into booster.
