Alternator Field Sense
PURPOSE Allows engine controller to monitor alternator output.
OPERATION The engine controller constantly monitors the alternator field output (alternator output). The signal tells the engine controller what voltage levels are being supplied to the injectors and the
ignition coil. The engine controller adjusts the alternator field and injector pulse width based upon the alternator field sense input.
