Distributor Cap: Service and Repair
Hall Effect Distributor:
REMOVAL 1.
Pry back cap hold down clips.
2.
Remove cap, (leave spark plug wires attached) and rotor.
3.
Inspect cap and rotor for wear, carbon deposits or cracks, and replace if needed.
INSTALLATION 1.
Install new rotor and cap.
2.
Push clips onto shoulders completely.
3.
Remove one spark plug wire at a time from old cap and install on correct tower on new cap.
