Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor:




NOTE: The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is installed into the intake manifold plenum.

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the air temperature sensor.

2. Remove the sensor from the intake manifold.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the air temperature sensor into the intake manifold. Torque the sensor to 28 Nm (20 ft.lbs.).

2. Connect the electrical connector to the air temperature sensor.
