Power Steering Pressure Switch: Service and Repair

NOTE: The power steering pressure switch is installed in the power steering high pressure hose.

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the power steering pressure switch.

2. Place a small container or shop towel beneath the switch to collect any excess fluid.

3. Remove the switch.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the power steering switch.

2. Connect the electrical connector to the switch.

3. Start the engine and check power steering fluid. Add fluid if necessary.
