Battery Tray

REMOVAL
1. Remove the battery from the battery tray.
2. Remove the battery temperature sensor from the battery tray.

Battery Tray Remove/Install:




3. Remove the four screws with washers that secure the battery tray to the reinforcement located between the dash panel and the rear of the front wheelhouse inner panel in the engine compartment.
4. Remove the battery tray from the reinforcement in the engine compartment.

INSTALLATION
1. Clean and inspect the battery tray.
2. Position the battery tray onto the reinforcement in the engine compartment.
3. Install and tighten the four screws with washers that secure the battery tray to the reinforcement located between the dash panel and the rear of the front wheelhouse inner panel in the engine compartment. Tighten the screws to 22.6 N.m (200 in. lbs.).
4. Install the battery temperature sensor onto the battery tray.
5. Install the battery onto the battery tray.
