Installation

INSTALLATION




1. Loosely install the front lower bracket bolts (2).

2. Install the seat assembly (1) into the vehicle from the liftgate.




3. Position the seat assembly front lower bracket notches (3) down over the bolts (4) install previously keeping the back side of the seat up.

4. After the seat assembly is in place tumble the seats back and latch fully.

CAUTION: Do not tumble the left seat forward before tightening of the front assembly bolts is complete. Failure to follow these tightening instructions may result in a seat assembly that does not latch properly.

5. Tighten the left front pre-started bolt (4) to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).

6. Tighten the left rear bolt (1) to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).




7. Tumble the left side seat forward and tighten the center seat fasteners (1 and 2) to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).





CAUTION: Do not tumble the right seat forward before tightening of the front assembly bolts is complete. Failure to follow these tightening instructions may result in a seat assembly that does not latch properly.


NOTE: Left side fasteners shown, right side fasteners are similar.

8. Tighten the right front pre-started bolts (4) to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).

9. Tighten the right rear bolt (1) to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).




10. Tumble the right side seat forward and tighten the two center seat fasteners (2) to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).

11. Install the trim plug (1).




12. Return the seats to the latched position and check for binding latches.

13. Install the trim covers (2).
