Installation






INSTALLATION





1. Check to be certain that the two plastic nuts (4) are properly installed and in good condition in the liftgate header panel (1).

2. Position the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) (8) near the opening in the liftgate header panel.

3. Reconnect the wire harness connector (2) to the connector receptacle (7) and the rear washer supply hose (3) to the nipple (5) on the back of the lamp.

4. Position the CHMSL into the liftgate header opening.

5. Install and tighten the two screws (6) that secure the CHMSL to the liftgate header panel. Tighten the screws to 3 Nm (27 in. lbs.).

6. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
