INSTALLATION





WARNING: Do not remove the liftgate glass support rods with the glass closed. The support rod pistons are operated by high pressure gas and could cause personal injury and/or vehicle damage if they are removed with the pistons compressed (glass closed). Once removed, do not attempt to disassemble or repair the support rods.

1. Make sure the retaining clips (1) are seated into the ball socket (2) fully.




NOTE: Liftgate support cylinder shown, liftgate flipper glass support similar.

2. Install the support cylinder (1) over the ball studs with the thin end connected glass and liftgate respectively with the retaining clips snapping into place.
