ASSEMBLY





1. Install dog clutch (1) in differential case (2).




2. Install wave spring (1) in differential case (2).




3. Install wave spring stop ring (1) in differential case (2) and align tabs with dog clutch notches.




4. Install both thrust washers (1) on dog clutch side of the side gear (2).




5. Install side gear dog clutch (1) with thrust washers in differential case (2).




6. Install two pinion gears (2) with thrust washers then slid pinion shaft (1) into the case.




7. Install third pinion gear (2) with thrust washer then slid pinion shaft (1) into the case.




8. Install pinion shaft pin (1) into the pinion shaft (2) and case.




9. Install fourth pinion gear (2) with thrust washer then slid pinion shaft (1) into the case.




10. Install pinion shaft pin (1) into the pinion shaft (2) and case.




11. Install side gear (1) into differential case (2).




12. Install thrust washer (1) on side gear (2).
13. Install case half and align screw holes.




14. Install dog clutch actuator plate (1) on dog clutch and case (2).




15. Install differential case (1) screws (2).




16. Install ring gear with new ring gear (2) bolts (1) and alternately tighten to 136 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).




17. Install coil (1) on differential case.




18. Install washer (1) on coil (2).




19. Install differential bearing with Installer C-4213 (1) and Handle C-4171 (2).
