Intake Manifold - Installation






INSTALLATION





1. Clean all gasket surfaces.
2. Replace intake manifold gasket.
3. Install intake manifold, tighten bolts to 25 Nm (220 in. lbs.) as shown.





4. Install the fuel rail assembly to intake manifold. Tighten bolts to 23 Nm (200 in. lbs.).
5. Connect fuel injector electrical connectors (4).
6. Inspect quick connect fittings for damage, replace if necessary Service and Repair.
7. Connect fuel line (3).





8. Connect negative cable to battery (3).
9. Fill the cooling systemService and Repair.
10. Install air cleaner housing (1).
11. Install clean air hose (5).





12. Start engine and check for leaks.
13. Install engine cover (1).
