Drive Belt: Description and Operation
GAS ENGINEACCESSORY DRIVE BELT - WORLD ENGINEThe accessory drive belt (2) is a serpentine type belt that is driven by the crankshaft pulley (6).
The belt drives the A/C compressor, generator (3), power steering pump (1) and water pump (7). Belt tension is maintained by an automatic belt tensioner (8).
