1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Locate the front axle sensor (4) within the right front fender wheel house.
4. Disconnect the vehicle wire harness connector (6) from the sensor connector receptacle.
5. Remove the screw (2) that secures the sensor link bracket to the right front upper control arm (1) near the rear pivot bushing.
6. Remove the two screws (3) that secure the sensor mounting bracket to the right front wheel house.
7. Lower the sensor and bracket unit far enough to access and disengage the vehicle wire harness routing clips from the sensor bracket.
8. Remove the front axle sensor, brackets and link from the vehicle as a unit.
