Front Fender - Installation






INSTALLATION





1. If necessary, install the antenna onto the fender, Antenna - Installation.
2. Loosely install the fender (5) onto the front end sheet metal mounting structure (2).
3. Loosely install the cowl bolts (1) and the upper bolts (3).
4. Loosely install the door opening bolts (7).
5. Loosely install the wheelhouse bolt (4).
6. Loosely install the sill bolts (6).
7. Adjust the fender to the correct gap and flush dimensions, .
8. After correct fender gap and flush specifications are obtained, tighten all the upper fender fasteners (1, 3, 4 and 7) to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.).
9. Tighten the lower sill bolts (6) to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.).
10. Install the windshield frame bracket, .
11. Install the front wheelhouse splash shield, Splash Shield - Installation.
12. Install the wheel opening flares, .
13. Install the cowl top panel, Cowl Panel Cover - Installation.
