Vibration Damper - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and secure vehicle on hoist Service and Repair
3. Remove the accessory drive belt Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Removal
4. Remove vibration damper bolt.
5. Place Crankshaft Insert 8450 (2) into crankshaft nose.
6. Position Puller 1023 (1) on damper. Turn puller forcing screw until damper releases from crankshaft.
7. Remove the crankshaft vibration damper.
