Camshaft Position Sensor - Removal






REMOVAL





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the camshaft position (CMP) sensor.





3. Loosen the CMP sensor retaining bolt.





4. Pull the sensor up and out of the chain case cover. Leave the retaining bolt in place.
