SUBJECT:
Intermittent No Start or Intermittent RKE Operation

OVERVIEW:
This Bulletin involves replacing both FobKey's for an intermittent operation.

MODELS:

2009 (JK) Wrangler

2009 (KA) Nitro

2009 (KK) Liberty

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may complain that the vehicle will not start intermittently. Or that the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) works intermittently.

DIAGNOSIS:
Some customers may exhibit the condition described above. Check for fault codes and preform normal diagnostics. If condition is not duplicated please perform the repair as described below.





PARTS REQUIRED:

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1. Program the SKIM first. Refer to the detailed procedures available in DealerConnect > TechConnect under Service Info > Electrical > Vehicle Theft Security > Standard Procedure > Sentry Key Transponder Programing.

2. Test and return vehicle to customer.

Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
