Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - Installation

5.7L/6.1L ENGINE










1. Apply MOPAR(TM) thread sealant with PFTE part number 04318034 to sensor threads.
2. Install sensor (3) into engine cylinder block.
3. Tighten sensor to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.) torque.
4. Connect electrical connector (2) to sensor (3).
5. Carefully bolt air conditioning compressor onto the front of engine.A/C Compressor - Installation
6. Install accessory drive belt Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Installation.
7. Replace any lost engine coolant. Service and Repair.
