The A/C system on models equipped with the 3.7L engine has a ten cylinder rotary type A/C compressor that uses an electrically operated clutch to engage and disengage the compressor from the engine accessory drive belt.

The A/C compressor has a fixed displacement of 180 cubic centimeters (10.9 cubic inches), a label which identifies the use of R-134a refrigerant, and suction and discharge ports (2) located on the compressor cylinder head (3).
