Defroster Grille - Removal






REMOVAL

Special Tools:











CAUTION: Carefully disengage the retaining clips on the defroster grille, make sure the tool does not scratch the instrument panel assembly while removing.

1. Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Service Precautions
2. Using trim stick or equivalent, separate the five cluster bezel clips (5) along the back edge of the driver side defroster grille (1).
3. Using trim stick or equivalent, separate the clips securing the defroster grille (1) to the passenger side defroster grille (3).
4. Pull the defroster grille (1) rearward and separate the front clips (6) securing the grille to the instrument panel and remove the grille.
5. Using trim stick or equivalent, separate the four clips (4) along the front edge of the passenger side defroster grille (3).
6. Pull the defroster grille (3) rearward and separate the front clips (2) securing the grille to the instrument panel.
7. Remove the grille.
