Generator - Installation





3.6L





1. Install the generator into the vehicle.
2. Install the generator mounting retainers (1).Tighten to the top retainers to 54 Nm (43 ft. lbs.)Tighten to the bottom retainers to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)




3. Position back the B+ cable onto the generator stud.
4. Install the B+ retainer (1).Tighten to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs)





5. Install the generator electrical connector (2) and install the B+ battery stud cover (1).





6. Install the serpentine belt Engine - Installation.
7. Install the air cleaner body (1) Air Cleaner - Installation.





8. Install the engine cover.
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
10. Close the hood.
