A/C Signal: Testing and Inspection

Description:

INSPECTION
The A/C is cut off under the following conditions.

1. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature and run it at idle.
2. Turn the blower switch and A/C switch ON.
3. Disconnect the throttle position (TP) sensor connector.
4. Connect the throttle position (TP) sensor connector terminals as shown in the image with a jumper wire and check if the condenser fan stops for approximately 10 seconds.

NOTE: The A/C compressor clutch and the condenser fan operate together.
