Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION
1. Disconnect the connector from the throttle position (TP) sensor.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between the throttle position (TP) sensor terminals 1(E) and 2(IDL).
3. Insert a feeler gauge between the throttle stop screw and the stop lever,
4. Check the continuity between terminals.
5. Connect an ohmmeter to the throttle position (TP) sensor terminal 3(Vt) and 1(E).
6. Verify that the resistance increases lineally according to throttle valve opening angle.
