Brake Bleeding: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Ensure brake fluid reservoir remains at least 3/4 full during entire bleed procedure.
3. Remove bleeder cap and attach a vinyl hose to bleeder plug.
4. Place other end of tube in a clear container.
5. Pump brake pedal several times, then press and hold. Loosen bleed screw and allow fluid to drain momentarily.
6. Retighten bleed screw.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until no air bubbles are seen.
8. Torque bleeder screw to 4.3-6.5 ft. lbs.
9. Add brake fluid and repeat procedure for remaining wheels.
