Power Mirror Motor: Testing and Inspection





1. Remove the triangular trim panels adjacent to each mirror.
2. Disconnect the power mirror connectors C506 or C606.
3. Check for continuity between terminals of the mirror connector as indicated.


NOTE :The resistance between terminals 1 and 2, and between terminals 2 and 4 can vary from 50 to 500 Ohms on good mirror motors. The resistance will decrease with use of the mirror.


4. If continuity is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly.
