Cruise Control: Description and Operation

The cruise control system uses mechanical and electrical devices to maintain the vehicle speed at a driver-selected setting between approximately 25-90 mph (40-145 Kv).

The cruise control module receives signals from the cruise control main switch, the brake pedal switch, the cruise control switch, clutch pedal position switch or transaxle range switch, and the vehicle speed sensor. The cruise control unit sends signals to the cruise control actuator and the transaxle control module.
