Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

ECM Location:

Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Peel the carpet covering back from the front center of the passenger side to fully expose the PCM.
3. Disconnect the four PCM connectors.
4. Remove four bracket mounting bolts and slide the PCM out into the passenger side compartment.

Installation
1. Slide the PCM into position from the passenger side compartment. and install the four bracket mounting bolts.

Tightening torque: 69.6 - 96 in-lb (7.9 - 10.7 N.m)

2. Connect the four PCM connectors.
3. Reposition the carpet covering over the front center of the passenger side to fully cover the PCM.
4. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
