Shift Interlock Cable: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.

Remove components in numerical order, refer to
Figs. 18 and 23. 3.
Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a.
Shift selector lever to P range.
b.
Push selector range against P range and hold.
c.
Torque selector cable mounting bolts to 70-95 inch lbs.
