Windshield Washer Motor: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect the washer motor connector (C117).

Wiper/Washer-Circuit Testing:

2. Check for continuity between terminals 1 and 2 with an ohmmeter.
3. If no continuity, replace the washer motor.

Wiper/Washer-Circuit Testing:

4. Check operation by applying 12 V to C117 pin 2 (BLU) and ground to C117 pin 1 (BLU/ORN) of the washer motor connector.
5. If motor does not operate, replace washer motor.
