Alarm Module: Description and Operation

The electronic time and alarm control module operates the chime and controls the timing functions for the chime, the fasten belt indicator, the rear defroster, the power door locks and the theft deterrent system. Battery voltage is supplied at all times to the module from the ROOM and DOOR LOCK fuses. Battery voltage is also supplied to the module from the METER fuse any time the ignition switch is in ON or START. The control module is grounded at G200. For details and usage of the various inputs and outputs, see the systems indicated in the schematic.
