EGR Valve: Service and Repair
Removal 1.
Disconnect the
EGR Control Valve Connector.
2.
Remove the two (2)
EGR Control Valve retaining bolts, remove the EGR Control Valve, and discard the gasket.
3.
Install a new
EGR Control Valve gasket, and install the EGR Control Valve.
4.
Tighten the
EGR Control Valve bolts.
Tightening torque: 14-16 ft-lb (19-25 N.m) 5.
Reconnect the
EGR Control Valve Connector.
