Temperature Gauge: Testing and Inspection
TEMPERATURE 1.
Connect the positive (+) lead from battery to terminal 1 and negative (-) lead to terminal 2.
2.
Connect the variable resistance to terminal 3 and terminal 2.
3.
Varies the variable resistance.
4.
Check that the
temperature gauge pointer moves. If the operation is not as specified, replace the gauge.
