Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

Park range switch (Stop lamp switch)
Continuity inspection
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove console.

3. Disconnect park range switch connector.
4. Check continuity between terminals.

5. If not as specified, replace park range switch.
6. Connect park range switch connector.
7. Install console.
8. Connect negative battery cable.

9. Check for correct operation of shift-lock system.
