Vehicle Speed Sensor
Vehicle speed sensor Voltage inspection 1.
Turn ignition ON and use a voltmeter to back probe pin 1.
2.
Have an assistant rotate one drive wheel, checking other drive wheel, if necessary. This will rotate vehicle speed sensor.
3.
Voltmeter reading should alternate between approximately 1 and 10 volts.
4.
If this requirement is not met, replace vehicle speed sensor.
