Ignition Cable: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION 1.
Disconnect from coil and
spark plugs.
2.
Check for breaks in insulation.
3.
Check inside high-tension lead connectors for corrosion or carbon deposits.
4.
Connect high-tension lead to an ohmmeter and check resistance.
Resistance:
4.48 - 6.72 kOhm per 3.28 ft (1 m) 5.
Replace if defective.
