A/C Pressure Sensor/Switch - Cooling Fan: Description and Operation




Triple pressure switch
Triple switch is located at discharge hose, applying medium switch as well as conventional low pressure and high pressure switches.

Low pressure switch will be turned off to stop compressor operation, if refrigerant pressure is low.

High pressure switch will be turned off to stop compressor operation, it refrigerant pressure is too high. Medium switch will be turned on at medium level pressure determining A/C system overheat in order to cool A/C system operating radiator fan and condenser fan at high speed.
