Manufacture's Scan Tool
DIAGNOSIS WITH SCAN TOOL1. Turn the ignition key to OFF.
2. Connect the Hi-Scan Pro to the vehicle DLC (Data Link Connector) located underneath the dash panel.
3. Turn the ignition key to "ON" position and turn on the Hi-Scan Pro.
4. Check for diagnostic trouble codes.
5. If a fault code is found, then replace the appropriate component. Never attempt to repair the component.
6. If the Hi-Scan Pro finds that a component of the system is faulty, there is a possibility that the fault is not in the components but in the SRS wiring or connector.
