FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSORREMOVE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
2. Remove the ABS sensor from the knuckle assembly.
3. Remove the ABS sensor wire from the attaching clip.
4. After removing trim, remove the ABS sensor and connector in the engine room.
INSPECTION
1. Measure the resistance of the ABS sensor.
Resistance: 1.3 - 1.5 K ohms
2. Replace ABS sensor if necessary.
REPLACEMENT
1. Install ABS sensor and connector.
Tightening torque: 6 - 8 ft. lbs. (8 - 12 Nm, 0.8 - 1.2 kg-m)
2. Install trim.
3. Install the ABS sensor to the attaching clip.
4. Install the ABS sensor to the knuckle assembly.
5. Connect the negative battery cable to the battery.
NOTE: A shield wire is used to prevent interruption of the input signal from the ABS sensor. Return the wire to its original position after repair.
