Oil Pan: Service and Repair
OIL PAN COMPONENT INSTALLATION 1.
Apply continuous sealant to mating surface as shown illustration.
Sealant type: LOCTITE 5900
Bead width:
0.1575 inch (4 mm) NOTE: ^
Clean the foreign material from mating surface before applying sealant.

Assembly procedure must be completed within 4 minutes after applying sealant.
2.
Install the
oil pan.
