Precaution before repairing
1. To prevent damage to the system, follow procedures below before repair or diagnosis.
- Disconnect or connect each component (ABS CU, HCU assembly, etc.) with ignition switch off.
- For failure of components that is not specified for repair, replace those as assembly.
- When using an electric arc welding machine, disconnect each component (ABS CU, HCU assembly).
2. Do not spill brake fluid on painted surfaces, wiring, cables or connectors. If fluids damage painted surfaces or connectors, remove using a mop and water.
