Main Silencer

Removal

Caution: A hot exhaust system can produce a serious burn.

1. Remove two nuts at main-silencer flange.

2. Remove three supports from main-silencer.
3. Remove one gasket.

Installation
1. Lubricate inside of three main-silencer hangers with a silicone lubricant.
2. Clean mating surfaces as required.
3. Install one new gasket on bolts.
4. Install main silencer in three hangers.
5. Install two nuts at main silencer flange.
Tightening torque: 27.4 - 38.3 ft. lbs. (37.2 - 51.9 Nm, 3.8 - 5.3 kg-m)
