Throttle Body: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION 1.
Check that throttle plate does not bind or stick.
2.
Check for wear, deposits or coolant damage.
3.
Check that throttle valve moves smoothly through its range; closed to fully opened.
NOTE: Throttle body and
throttle position sensor are replaced as a unit.
