Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR

NOTE: The throttle position sensor is not adjustable or replaceable. The throttle position sensor is part of the throttle body assembly. For throttle body removal, refer to fuel system.

REMOVAL
1. Check that ignition key is in OFF position.
2. Disconnect throttle position sensor connector.
3. Remove two bolts holding throttle position sensor to throttle body.

INSTALLATION
1. Position throttle position sensor on throttle body.
2. Install and tighten two bolts.
3. Connect throttle position sensor electrical connector.
