Sunroof timing procedures for the Sorento, Amanti, New Spectra, and New Sportage are as follows: When replacing a sunroof motor, disconnecting the battery, or using the manual crank, the sunroof will need to be re-timed to learn it's limits. To re-time tilt the roof up and release the button. Depress the tilt up button again and hold for approximately 10 seconds until the glass moves up and down slightly. Quickly release and depress the tilt up button again and hold while the glass tilts down, slides full open and closes. Release the button, sunroof is now re-timed.
