TITLE: Valve Cover Torquing Sequence

APPLIES TO: 2004.5 2.0L Sectra

SERVICE TIP:






This information provides the proper torquing sequence and torque specifications for the cylinder head/valve cover bolts on the new 2004.5 2.0L CWT engine. Please follow the torque sequence when installing the cylinder head/valve cover to prevent oil leaks. First tighten all the cylinder head cover bolts to half of the standard torque, then torque the bolts completely according to the sequence below.

Torque Value: 5.8 ~ 7.2 Ft. Lbs. (7.8 ~ 9.8Nm)
