Engine Controls - DTC P0190 Confusion

SERVICE TIP:

If you encounter an Amanti with a DTC P0190 (fuel rail pressure sensor), the code is being misread by the Hi-Scan Pro. U.S. Amanti vehicles are not equipped with a fuel rail pressure sensor. The correct code is P0403 (EGR solenoid circuit malfunction). Diagnosis for P0403 is in the Amanti Service Manual, page FL 150. The incorrect code is a result of a glitch in the Hi-Scan Pro programming. To correct the programming of the Hi-Scan Pro, KP331 software upgrade is now available as a download from KSIS.
