Disassembly and Reassembly

Charging System:

DISASSEMBLY




1. Remove the generator cover using a screwdriver or equivalent.




2. After loosening the 3 mounting bolts, detach the brush holder assembly.




3. Remove the nut, pulley, and spacer.

NOTE: Put on gloves to protect hands during working.

CAUTION: Cutting the stator coil lead line connecting to the rectifier may damage the generator because the rectifier and the stator coil lead line are soldered-together. So, do not disassemble further.




4. Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly.
