System Specifications
Cylinder headTighten the 10 cylinder head bolts and plate washers, in several passes, in the sequence shown.
Always use new cylinder head bolt.
Tightening torque 34.3 Nm (3.5 kgf.m, 25.3 lb-ft) + 90° + 90°
Flatness of gasket surface
Specifications Less than 0.05 mm (0.0020 in) (0.02 mm (0.0008 in)/100 x 100)
Flatness of manifold mounting surface
Intake
Specifications Less than 0.10 mm (0.0039 in)
Exhaust
Specifications Less than 0.10 mm (0.0039 in)
Intake manifold
Tightening torque 18.6-27.5 Nm (1.9-2.8 kgf.m, 13.7-20.2 lb-ft
Camshaft bearing caps.
Group A --> Group B --> Group C.
Exhaust manifold stay
Tightening torque:
C1, C2, C5 18.6-27.5 Nm (1.9-2.8 kgf.m, 13.7-20.2 lb-ft)
C3, C4 52.0-57.9 Nm (5.3-5.9 kgf.m, 38.3-42.7 lb-ft
Slightly tighten the bolts (C1 - C4) for fixing the stay(A).
Tighten the bolts fully in the order, (C1 -> C2 -> C3 -> C4 -> C5)
