SHIFT LEVER

INSTALLATION
1. Install the retainer and nuts.

TORQUE: 12-15Nm(1.2-1.5 kgf.m, 8.7-10.8lb-ft)

NOTE: install the crush pad and cowl cross bar.

2. Install the shift lever assembly (A).

TORQUE:
[A] 2-3Nm( 0.2-0.3 kgf.m, 1.4-2.2 lb-ft)
[B] 9-14Nm( 0.9-1.4 kgf.m, 6.5-10.1 lb-ft)

NOTE:
Tighten the two bolts of both side linkage.
TORQUE: 7-8 Nm (0.7-0.8 kgf.m, 5.1-5.8 lb-ft)





3. Install the sports mode connector (A).





4. Install the control cable (A).

CAUTION: Be sure to place the waving shape (B) of the cable shown in the illustration.





5. Install the control cable assembly from the transaxle. (Refer to Automatic Transaxle's Removal)
6. Install the front console (A).





7. Install the console upper cover (A).





8. Install the console assembly (A).





9. Install the console assembly mounting bolts (B) and console rear cover (A).





10. Install the console under cover (A).
