Component Inspection

1. Ignition "OFF"
2. Disconnect oil control valve connector
3. Measure resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the solenoid connector (Component side).
A. Specification









4. Is resistance within specification ?
YES
1) Go to "W/Harness Inspection" procedure.
NO
1) Check oil control valve for contamination, deterioration, or damage. Substitute with a known-good solenoid and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace solenoid and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure
